Ingredients
- 20 grape leaves, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup ground beef or lamb
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Prepare Filling: In a bowl, combine rice, ground meat, onion, parsley, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
- Stuff Leaves: Place a grape leaf shiny side down, add a tablespoon of filling, fold sides, and roll tightly.
- Arrange in Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Arrange stuffed leaves in a single layer in the basket.
- Cook: Drizzle lemon juice and water over the leaves. Cook for 15-20 minutes, until leaves are tender.
- Check Doneness: Ensure the meat is cooked through and leaves are tender before serving.
- Serve: Remove carefully and serve warm with additional lemon juice if desired.
