Ingredients
- 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., spinach, potatoes, cauliflower), chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Prepare Batter: In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, water, cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt until smooth.
- Add Vegetables: Stir in sliced onions, mixed vegetables, and lemon juice into the batter until well coated.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 5 minutes.
- Shape Pakoras: Form small balls or patties from the mixture and place them in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
